Political Turmoil in Telangana: KTR Alleges Vendetta Amid ACB Summons; Demands Revanth Reddy’s Resignation Over ED Chargesheet

The political landscape in Telangana has intensified as the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) issued a notice to BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) to appear on May 28 regarding the ongoing investigation into the Formula E case. KTR, citing prior commitments abroad, expressed his inability to attend but affirmed his willingness to cooperate upon return.

In a statement on social media, KTR criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, suggesting the timing of the ACB notice was politically motivated. He highlighted the recent mention of Revanth Reddy in the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) chargesheet concerning the National Herald case, questioning the silence of both the BJP and Congress on the matter.

KTR further alleged that Revanth Reddy had transformed Telangana into an “ATM for the Congress,” referencing multiple alleged scams under the current administration. He demanded accountability from national leaders, urging action against the Chief Minister.

The BRS has called for Revanth Reddy’s resignation, asserting that his inclusion in the ED chargesheet tarnishes the state’s reputation. As the political discourse intensifies, the state awaits further developments in both the ACB’s investigation and the ED’s proceedings.
