Hyderabad: Telangana’s Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has announced that the slot booking system in the Stamps & Registration Department will be extended to all Sub-Registrar Offices across the state starting June 2.

In an effort to provide transparent, corruption-free, and time-efficient services to property buyers and sellers, the slot booking system was first launched on a pilot basis in 22 Sub-Registrar offices on April 10. Encouraged by positive outcomes, the system was later expanded to 25 more offices from May 12, making it operational in a total of 47 locations.

Minister Srinivasa Reddy noted that the initiative has been a resounding success, with over 36,000 registrations completed across both phases and an impressive 94% public satisfaction rate.

Now, following the success in the initial 47 offices, the government is all set to roll out the system to the remaining 97 Sub-Registrar offices, ensuring statewide implementation. The Minister has directed officials to make the necessary arrangements for the smooth launch.

Under the slot booking system, property registration will be more streamlined and efficient. Citizens can book slots from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and once a slot is booked, detailed information will be made available via the department portal.

On Saturday, Minister Srinivasa Reddy reviewed the progress of the initiative with department officials. He emphasized that these key reforms in the Stamps & Registration Department are aimed at saving time for the public and speeding up the registration process. The Minister reiterated that while reforms are being introduced to improve service quality, it is the responsibility of officials to ensure their effective implementation.

He added that these changes are not only enhancing public service delivery but also increasing transparency within the department.
